Strengthening links with Japan
Professor Toshihiko Ishihara, Vice President of Kwansei Gakuin University, visited St Andrews on the 29th of October to discuss opportunities for widening and strengthening understanding of, and engagement with, philanthropy in Japan. Building on Professor Jung’s series of thought pieces for the Japan NPO Center, the conversation focused on ways in which the concept could be made more accessible to appeal to a younger demographic of actual and potential philanthropists.
