Professor Tobias Jung, Director of the Centre for the Study of Philanthropy & Public Good has been appointed as a trustee to Foundation Scotland, Scotland’s community foundation.

Focused on developing confident, thriving and resilient communities across Scotland, Foundation Scotland is one of 50 community foundations in the UK. Last year, Foundation Scotland distributed over £37 million on behalf of its donors to support communities to shape their future with the capacity and resources to deliver it.

Professor Jung said:
“I am absolutely delighted to join Foundation Scotland’s Board of Trustees. Having looked at community foundations as an organisational expression of philanthropy at national and international levels through a research lens, being able to bring those insights to the post and bridge academia and practice in the community foundation field is an exciting opportunity.”
