Postponed till 2021: Annual Philanthropy Talk – Ise Bosch

1 October 2020

NB In light of the global pandemic, this event will be rescheduled to a future date.

Marking this year’s European Day of Foundations and Donors, we will welcome leading German philanthropist Ise Bosch to the Centre for the Study of Philanthropy & Public Good to give our Annual Philanthropy Talk 2020.

Ise Bosch, granddaughter of industrialist Robert Bosch and winner of the German Donors Award 2018 – the highest accolade in the German Philanthropic Sector – has been actively engaged in philanthropy since the 1990s. Interested in using her power and privilege to help create more egalitarian societies, she has been particularly active in the areas of human rights, women and sexual minorities. Author of two books – “Donating Better! A Guide to Sustainable Commitment” and “Transformative Philanthropy. Giving with Trust” – and initiator of numerous major international philanthropic initiatives, she will use the talk to reflect and comment on key issues in and for contemporary philanthropy.
